We all love mom and that's why making Mother's Day more than special can help you build an emotional bond with your listeners that will have them inviting you to the family summer picnic. We offer some of our favorite ideas for Mother's Day promotions below. As always, your feedback and ideas are welcome. Email:

On Air
Bahama Mama
- Simply write, e-mail, fax or register on line and tell us in frequency words or less why your mom is the "Greatest Mom in the World." The best story (selected by the judges) will win a trip to the Bahamas for their mom.

Mom Match Game - Put mother and child teams against each other to answer questions like: What's the worst dish mom makes (that she thinks you like)?" "Which past boyfriend/girlfriend did you like the least?", etc. The team who answers the most questions correctly wins a Mother's Day prize for mom and tickets to a hot event for the child.

Motherly Advice - A personalities mom is on air each day during Mother's Day week for listeners to call-in and ask for their advice.

Strangest Moms - Invite children of all ages to email you and reveal the strangest thing their mom ever did. Post them on the site during Mother's Day week and maybe have the morning show do a segment on this one.

Makeover Moms - Get listeners to send in "before" pictures of their moms with letters telling why their mother deserves a day of beauty makeover. Choose "X" winners and award a day of beauty (facial, massage, manicure, hair styling and makeover) as a Mother's Day prize. Put the "before" and "after" pictures on your web site.

On The Street
Burn Mama Burn
- Mom calls in from her mini van and if she can lay/burn rubber she gets a prize.

Mommy Videos - Invite listeners to stop-by a designated location to record a free 5-minute message on VHS/DVD/CD/Email to send home to moms for Mother's Day. Be sure to include your logo on each one and/or use a station/company mailing label to send the piece to the mom - or have a computer set up to e-mail the piece. Great tie-in for malls, video/audio stores, camera stores, mail firms and packaging stores.
